AMASCO undertakes all sizes of
Blasting and Painting works utilizing
our own equipments which includes a
Groves Man lift, Crane, Scaffold and
even our own boats, if necessary.
Included in our capabilities are
Internal and External Pipe Blasting and
Coating, Tank or Hold, as well as Ship’s
Side, Main Deck and Accommodation
blasting and painting; On site Blasting
using Sand, Copper Slag or Garnet; Pipe
External and Internal Spin-blasting down
to a minimum I.D. of 3 inches; Internal
Spin-spray application down to a minimum
I.D. OF 8 inch.
BLAST ROOM: - This is situated at
the 3,000 sq.m. Al Aweer Heavy
Fabrication Yard. The Room dimensions
are 10m long x 4m wide x 4m high, and
uses recyclable steel shot fitted with a
railed trolley system loaded by overhead
crane. Larger blast room facilities are
available at our UAQ yard, which is 18m
long x 12m wide to undertake bigger
structures.
PAINT ROOM: - Also situated at
the Al Aweer Yard as an integral part of
the Blast Room facility. Internal &
external blasting and painting of
storage tanks, pressure vessels and
large structures utilizing vacuum
collection where necessary are carried
out. Galvanizing and Vulcanizing
(Rubberizing) works are also undertaken.
