As an organization Amasco wants to eliminate
accidents and injuries to people in all aspects
of its business; we recognize that this is a
difficult goal but will strive to succeed. We
operates in difficult and hazardous environments
and the safety of our people is absolutely
paramount at all times
The health and safety of the public and
communities who may be affected by our business
activities is also a priority to us. In this
regard, HSE Management is vital to our delivery
of quality and business excellence
We see safety leadership training as an
important element in communicating the
importance of safety performance and general
vigilance in improving the safety culture and
awareness
Environment
AMASCO understands the importance of giving
proper consideration to protecting the
environment and is committed to conducting
operations which minimize environmental impact,
with a target of zero environmental incidents.
In addition, we maintain an internal management
structure for the management of environmental
issues which includes clearly defined
responsibilities for environmental management
capable of delivering this policy commitment.
We recognize that our activities have the
potential to affect the environment and,
together with our clients, we eliminate the
potential for any environmental impact. A key
tool in this is the performance of risk and site
assessments prior to operations at all new
locations.
At all times Amasco aims to comply with and
where possible exceed applicable legal and other
requirements relating to the organization.
We
are also committed to monitoring our
environmental performance and setting objectives
and targets for improvement and at all times
provide appropriate training and awareness programmes for our staff.

AND SAFETY AT WORK
AMASCO is committed to the
prevention of accidents and
incidents involving personal
injury to Employees,
Contractors, Sub-Contractors and
General public.
The company is also committed to
preventing damage to property,
plant and equipment and the
Environment through fire,
improper use of equipment or
lack of training of its
workforce.
The Company management recognize
and accept their
responsibilities to ensure a
safe and healthy environment,
with safe operating systems of
work for all employees and to
provide information, training
and supervision as may be
required, and stresses at all
levels of management the need to
follow this policy.
Implementation of this Policy
will only be achieved by
compliance with legal
requirements, dedication at all
level of management and adequate
resources by the Company.
At the same time it is equally
the duty of every employee to
exercise personal responsibility
to prevent to himself and to his
co-workers. And it is a
requirement that all
sub-contractors must comply with
safety and health policy.
Remember that prevention of
accident & property damage is a
joint effort. We should
co-operate as a team to make our
company the safest place to
work.
This policy will be kept up to
date, particularly as the
business changes in nature and
size. To ensure this, the Policy
and the way in it has operated
will be reviewed as and when
necessary.
